Necronomicon is a free companion web app for the Cthulhu Wars boardgame. It is developed by Filippo Salvarani as fan project and it's made with resources gathered freely from the Petersen's Games' website and from the Cthulhu Wars boardgame community

Grottos (Doom Phase):
During the Doom Phase, if you have 2 Gnorri in play, you earn 1 etra Doom point. If you have 3 Gnorri in play, you earn 2 extra Doom points.

Neutral Monsters

A player may purchase a Neutral Monster's Loyalty Card during the Doom Phase. A player may never purchase more than one of these in a given Doom Phase, but there is no limit to the number of Neutral Monster Loyalty Cards a player may possess.

To purchase one of these Loyalty Cards, pay 2 Doom when it is your turn to perform a Ritual of Annihilation. If you wish, you may still perform the Ritual. When spending Doom, choose a Neutral Monster Loyalty Card from among those available, placing that card and its associated Monsters by your Faction Card. You will typically have the opportunity to immediately place one of these new Monsters for free.

Once you have purchased a Neutral Monster Loyalty Card, it is yours for the rest of the game. From then on only you may Summon and Control its associated Neutral Monsters.

Moonbeast

Pay 2 Doom to obtain this Loyalty Card, then place 1 Moonbeast on an enemy Faction Spellbook.

Blasphemous Obeisance (Ongoing):
When a Moonbeast is Summoned, place it on a Spellbook on an enemy's Faction Card. While the Moonbeast is on that Spellbook, that Spellbook cannot be used (it still counts for other purposes such as Unlimited Battle, and winning the game). In the next Doom Phase, remove all Moonbeasts from enemy Spellbooks and place them into any Areas on the Map containing a Controlled Gate(s). A Moonbeast may be prematurely returned to the Map if its victim spends 1 Doom point (at any time; this does not count as an Action).

Horror Steed (Ongoing):
When Moving a Shantak, it can reach any Area on the Map. In addition, the Shantak may carry one of you Cultists with it for free.
